The Parade

On Sunday, December 2, 2007, area vintage car owners participated in the Bryan-College Station Christmas Parade. The parade started at 2 P.M. and traveled down Texas Avenue for a distance of 2.5 miles. Vintage car owners decorated their vehicles with garland, tinsel, ribbons, Poinsettias, wreaths and a variety of other holiday trimmings. Sixteen decorated Model A's and T's were driven in the parade and the crowd cheered and waved as the cars drove past them.

After the parade was over, the group traveled to Precinct 4 Volunteer Fire Station to enjoy a pot luck meal accompanied by delicious steaks and salmon. Neil and John Rowan generously grilled the meat and fish for the crowd and everyone had a great time sharing this delicious holiday meal together. It was a fantastic day to be the owner of a vintage car.
