2010 MEETING DATES AND TOURS

January Tours

Ross and Jennifer have planned a terrific tour to start the new year. The following e-mail comes from Ross:

This Sat (January 2nd) the weather looks pretty nice, so were going to organize a short model T tour to the Brenham Airport. We will start at Texas T Parts at 10 A.M. and go to the airport diner about 11:30 / 12 noon, and then take the long way back home over some quite interesting roads. We'll be back here at about 4P.M. (hopefully whilst there is still some heat in the sun.)

Anyone who wants to come is welcome. I'm taking a Model T and will run at 30 -35 MPH. If anyone want to bring their Model A and follow at that speed, we would love to see you. If you want to run faster and meet us at the airport at 11:30 / 12, that will be great, also.

Also, on Sunday, January10th, Lucky's Hot Rod Run meets at the Chicken Oil Company in Bryan. There are usually about 400-500 cars of all years and manufacture, etc. There are hot rods and nice original cars, too. I'll be going to that; some others in the Model A club have also gone in the past. It's a good event to look at other people's passions. If you want to meet up there for coffee / donuts or whatever, that will be a good start to the year as well.
