Several members of the Texas Touring Ts attended the 32nd annual Texas T Party tour which was held in the Tyler area. Those attending the T Party were not conservative protesters who gathered to voice their opposition to big government; they were lovers of the vintage Model T car. Ross and Jennifer Lilleker organized the event, which was sponsored by the Houston Space City Ts, and there were close to 100 participants who enjoyed five days of touring and visiting places of interest.

Over the course of the excursion, the 354 mile tour took participants to stops at Tyler State Park, Love's Lookout, Guy and Joan Pyron's gardens, Country Charm Candles, Texas Basket Company, Mineola, Jacksonville, Treasure Cove Antiques, Landmark Inn, Goodman House, East Texas Gator and Wildlife Farm, East Texas Oil Museum and the New London School Museum.

Activities back at the hotel included an ice cream social and presentations about vintage camping equipment by Ben Hardeman and Model T photography by Ginger Wentrcek. The culminating activity was an awards banquet, with performances by the youth of Tyler.

The cars arrive at Love's Lookout Visitor's Center. It was a cold and misty day when Tommy and Patsy started out on Thursday morning.

The line of cars on the back country roads was an impressive sight to see. This gravel road was one of the smoothest roads on the trip.

Nancy, Ben and Marion Rose are ready for the start of the tour on Saturday morning. The costumes of former Rose queens were on display in the Rose Museum.

After the bendix spring broke, and we couldn't crank the crank, there was only one way to start the car. Ernie pretends to take a drink from a water well display inside the East Texas Oil Museum. Patsy and Tommy dress in vintage clothing for the closing banquet.
