Christmas Party

Plans for the December Christmas party were made at the November meeting. We will meet at Ernie and Ginger's house, instead of The Feed Barn, on Thursday, December 10 at 7:00 P.M. for a Christmas meal. A smoked ham and turkey will be provided and those who plan to attend are asked to bring either a vegetable dish, dessert or appetizer. Tea, ice and paper goods will also be provided.

We are also going to have a "white elephant" gift exchange. Each person should bring some unwanted item that you have laying around the house OR a gift worth no more than $10. Don't put your name on it, and wrap it or put it in a bag where its contents can't be seen. We will each take turns selecting a gift and try to steal away the best of the lot.

Do you know what Olde English Christmas crackers are? Hint: They pop, but you do not eat them. There is one for each person who attends the party and they should be lots of fun.

Members of Texas Touring Ts will receive an e-mail shortly with directions to the party, food sign-up and RSVP.

Dues

Nancy is now accepting dues for 2010. A family membership for the year is $20. You may give your dues to Nancy at one of the meetings. Nancy asked us at the November meeting to be sure to write your name on a piece of paper to give to her along with your money so she can credit the correct family.
