• The monthly meeting of the Texas Touring Ts Model T Club was held May 8 at Gattitown in College Station at 7:00 p.m. Thirteen members were present.
• Ben Hardeman called the meeting to order and introduced two new members, Gerald and Doris Cain.
• The minutes from the last meeting were approved.
• The treasurer's report, presented by Nancy Hardeman, was approved.
• Ben talked about the circulation of emails which he sends out periodically. Some members do not have access to the internet and a discussion was held about the best method to get information to everyone.
• Ross Lilliker told about the Giddings tour.
• Ben asked for comments about changing the location of the monthly meetings. River Bridge Restaurant, in downtown Bryan, is one possibility.
• Gerald and Doris Cain presented the program for the evening. Gerald gave a very interesting slide and video presentation about old racing cars with an emphasis on how important Model T’s were to the racing events during that era. He also showed parts of an overhead cam that was instrumental to the success of the racers at that time. Doris presented a slide show of photos that she had taken during the recent Hill Country Tour.
• Ben announced two Model A events which will be held in the near future. One of them will be a tour in downtown Bryan on May 24th.
• The meeting was adjourned.
