•  The eighth monthly meeting of the Texas Touring T’s was held on August 14, 2008 at GattiTown in College Station at 7:00 pm.

•  Ben Hardeman called the meeting to order and the minutes of the last meeting were approved as presented. No Treasurer’s Report was given.

•  Nancy Hardeman presented a slide show and told about their trip to Richmond, Indiana for the 100th Model T Anniversary. Members of the local club who attended were Ben and Nancy Hardeman, Jim Singleton and Stephanie Sale, and Luke Cordes. There were approximately 20-30 cars from Texas in attendance. There were about 975 cars registered to be in attendance nationwide and there were about 2000 in attendance. Edsel Ford II spoke at the first dinner. A parade of about 375 T’s was held, the largest of its kind with a single style car.

•  Nancy gave a number of useful tips for motoring trips.
